'Harriet is My Hero' accompanies 'The Spirit of Harriet Tubman' for students in grades K-2, and explores the theme of those characteristics that make Harriet, or anyone else, a good hero. The audience participates in re-creating some of the parts of the story, including and imaginary 'trip' on the Underground Railroad! Rag dolls are used to help tell the story and illustrate the various ages of Harriet Tubman.
